Overview:

The Heart Adventures Challenge Course is a fantastic journey allowing children to move through the four chambers of the heart in a larger-than-life setting. This specially designed fitness course encompasses more than just physical activity; it is a science lesson on the move where students acquire a general understanding of the heart, as well as the importance of exercise, in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Recommendations:

Recommended for 3rd through 7th Grades in the Science and Physical Education Classes. KY Testing of the Heart occurs in 5th Grade, this would be a great reinforcement and learning tool for those students! 

Heart Adventure Course Policy: 

Participating Schools are Required to Pick up and Return the Course to the Mayfield PDHD storage facility. PDHD staff will set up and teach the components of the course. The participating school is held responsible for damages and the safety of the course equipment.
