Peaches are rich in Vitamin A and C.  Eat them with or without the skin.  Try adding a teaspoon of sugar if they are not sweet enough.  Also slice them and add to cereal and milk. 

Oranges and other citrus fruits are very high in Vitamin C.  Navel oranges are good to eat whole.  Other oranges can be squeezed for orange juice.  You can also mix oranges with other fruits to make fruit salad. Try mixing an orange with half a sliced banana for a quick fruit salad that counts as two fruit servings.    

Green and red bell peppers are great in salad or eaten alone.  You can put raw green peppers on top of cooked dishes or in sandwiches like an onion or pickle.  They are also great on pizza.  Add green peppers to your chili and in other meat dishes.  Green peppers are almost as rich in Vitamin C as citrus fruits.  

Cauliflower is very mild tasting and does not smell like cabbage when you eat it raw.  It is very crunchy and makes a great snack with dip or alone.  Lots of people who don't like cooked cauliflower think it is great raw.  Others like it cooked with a little butter or cheese on top.   A  the chewing and high fiber that go along with cauliflower makes you feel full and provides you with lots of nutrients too. 

If you don't like raw cauliflower, try raw broccoli.  It is also crisp and delicious.  

Celery is one of the most popular raw vegetables.  It is high in fiber and can be stuffed with peanut butter or cream cheese.  Add raisins to make "Ants on a Log".  Celery is also used in lots of cooked dishes and adds color and texture to stews and soups.  It is good for you and tastes good too.  

Watermelon is a favorite summer treat.  Try watermelon or cantaloupe for a cool hot-weather treat.  

Carrots are a great snack, especially baby carrots that can be eaten right from the bag. Carrots are high in Vitamin A and other nutrients, and a good source of fiber.  Carrots make a good addition to your lunch box if you don't eat in the cafeteria at school.   

Mushrooms are great eaten raw or eaten on top of pizza or steak.  They are good in spaghetti sauce too.  

Almost everyone likes green beans.  They are high in vitamins and fiber and go well with lots of dishes.  There are different types of green beans.  Find the ones you like best and eat them often.  
There are also lots of kinds of peas.  Frozen green peas are good for you and they are easy to prepare.  Serve with a little butter.  Fresh peas are very good too, but canned or frozen are available year round.  Black-eyed peas and green and yellow split peas are good in soup.  In Kentucky people who raise a garden often grow field peas, which are more like beans.  Try different kinds and pick your favorite.  All are rich in vitamins and high in fiber.  
Day in and day out, nothing beats an apple for good taste and nutrition.  No wonder the saying "An apple a day  keeps the doctor away."  Apples are great cooked, baked, made into applesauce, apple pie, and lots of other more complicated dishes.  But for convenience and quick satisfaction, a raw apple is greatest.  Try to eat an apple almost every day.
