The Purchase District Health Department monitors the occurrence of
selected diseases, including possible bioterrorism. The
Department also monitors chronic conditions in the Purchase Area and
works with the Department of Public Health and the Kentucky Data
Center to provide information about health and other information to
citizens. A newsletter is published periodically for
distribution to health and emergency preparedness organizations.
